Take One Action Film Festival
"Take One Action is Scotland’s social action cinema project (“People and movies that are changing the world”). The project exists to celebrate, explore and critique the intersect between cinema and the global and environmental justice movement in the UK and across the world."
Take One Action commissioned Metazoa to turn existing design concepts into a fully functional website with an open source content management system, so that staff have full control over site updates.
Site functionality includes an events database with customised data entry fields, with events shown in a mini events calendar and in thematic listings throughout the site, a searchable movie database, latest news and blog, embedded YouTube video for movie trailers, an email newsletter signup form, and embedded social bookmarking. Visitors can make easy donations online using PayPal.
