Edinburgh World Heritage is a charitable organisation that manages, protects, enhances and promotes the historic city centre of Edinburgh - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Metazoa has been working with Edinburgh World Heritage for several years, and recently designed and built a new content managed website for the organisation. The brief was to introduce more dynamism, improve usability and make better use of EWH's extensive multimedia resources, as well as to make the site easier for staff to update.
Image galleries, videos and podcasts are featured in a new multimedia section. News and events, advice for property owners, downloadable publications, and project case studies are also included. The Learning microsite contains useful resources for teachers.
David Hicks, Communications Manager for Edinburgh World Heritage said: "Metazoa provided an all round cost-effective service, high quality design, responsive to our needs. They took time to understand the brief properly, but also gave helpful guidance to achieve a distinctive look and feel to the website. This has certainly had good results, with very postive feedback from stakeholders."
